I Thought You Loved Me

I Thought You Loved Me

"I Thought You Loved Me"

(Recycled Paper)

This artwork is titled, "I thought you loved me" and is made from recycled papers and finished with my own meticulous technique. Fun fact: hidden in the work is a tissue I used to dry my tears, because the same time I was building this I cried and grieved. The work represents giving up and letting go what I was dealing with. There is a time when you have to let go of something that has turned into a bad thing that will eat you inside if you do not let go of it and fly away. It is not good for your mental health to walk on top of eggshells and wonder what you did wrong again, when the reality is you did nothing wrong. You gave it your all, but it was not enough, and now you understand. It was never you. I was certainly crying when I started to create this one. Art is the thing that breathes life into me whenever I am happy or sad. It is always talking and always there. You are never alone with it. This art piece was born with that pain of letting go. This art sculpture is a tribute for all those that had to let go. When you let go of something hurtful to you, it awakens the inner knowing that it was right decision. It leads you to your real self🌙 Letting go of something is bittersweet magic✨ When you close a door, another opens..✨ Believe in the magic, it is here!❤✨🌕

About the Artist

My name is Säde and I am a fantasy eco-artist from naantali, Finland.

I have made art all my life. I was born with it.

I am storyteller and gentle listener, the maker and doer of something new. My profession is an art therapist, and it gives me a deep, interesting view on things. I am one of the last noble ladies in our bloodline and my roots are of very old heritage. My take on art is to make something beautiful, shocking, and tasteful. I express feelings and experiences through my art. I like to make something we can only feel into something we can watch and touch, to manifest the feeling into reality.

I create my works as ecological as possible!🍃 I use mostly recycled paper and I finish my works by my own meticulous technique. I do art that is a little bit distinct, that you do not see every day. Paper mache, sculptures, and 3D-canvas art are my areas.
