Steven H. Erlbaum

Co-Founder and President

Steven, his wife Amy, and Roger Harrison founded Minding Your Mind in 2007. Steven is an entrepreneur who has a highly successful track record of founding and growing new businesses. Steven was the founder of the nationwide chain, David’s Bridal, which became the largest bridal chain in America. Initially he took the business public and then sold it shortly thereafter.  He also founded Mr. Goodbuys, a Mid-Atlantic chain of building and plumbing supply stores, which he sold to a Dutch company. Steven is the founder of the Regency Group, a venture capital investment company, and an active investor in real estate. Steven mentors young people entering the business world and others who need advice. Through his private foundation he supports a wide range of causes including homelessness, medical research, autoimmune diseases, cancer research, diabetes, brain disorders, and many Jewish causes.
Roger M. Harrison, MBA

Co-Founder

Mr. Harrison is a Co-Founder of Minding Your Mind. After receiving an MBA from Syracuse University, he worked for General Mills in marketing. Roger also served on the 1972 campaign for Senator Joe Biden, and subsequently as Biden’s administrative aide, managing his Washington and Wilmington offices. Returning to the private sector, he served at ARAMARK’s Contract Management of Fleet Maintenance, and as assistant to the chairman of a regional home improvement chain. Additionally, Roger became a partner in a company serving 20,000 real estate appraisers throughout the country. He returned to public service and was elected mayor for two terms and Chief Executive Officer of Woodbridge, CT. Currently, Mr. Harrison is president of RH Associates, a small consulting organization that helps manage telecommunications and electric cost centers in local government.
Amy B. Erlbaum

Co-Founder

Ms. Erlbaum is a Co-Founder and President of Minding Your Mind. She has over 20 years of experience working in the banking industry, specializing in wealth management. She served as a director for the People’s Light and Theater Company, a 501c3 theater group, as well a volunteer at A Better Chance of Lower Merion, the local chapter of a national nonprofit organization with the goal of helping more talented young people of color to become well-educated by attending high-achieving boarding, day, and public schools in the United States. She also serves as a director to the Tzedakah Foundation. Amy graduated from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Eric D. Pisauro, CPA, CFA

Secretary and Treasurer

Mr. Pisauro is the Secretary and Treasurer of Minding Your Mind. He is a Pennsylvania CPA with over 20 years of experience. Eric led operations and accounting groups at Bank of America Capital Management and PFPC Inc. Since 2006, Eric has served as the finance director for The Regency Group, a private investment company. Eric graduated with honors from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Donna Brooks

Board Member

Ms. Brooks worked on the trading floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exhange for eight years. Shortly after leaving she turned her interest towards health and fitness taking health classes at Temple University and becoming a certified personal trainer in 1991. In 2003, after taking a break from training clients to raise her two children, Donna opened a personal training and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu facility in Bryn Mawr PA. She managed the business and worked as a trainer for six years. Donna is grateful to be a part of the Minding Your Mind organization.
Paul Lichtman

Board Member

Paul Lichtman is President of Independent Insurance Advisors, a consulting firm established in 1989, which advises corporations objectively on their insurance programs. Educated at Temple University, Mr. Lichtman began his career as a registered securities broker with a New York Stock Exchange firm. With more than 40 years of business experience, Mr. Lichtman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our board. In addition to his professional expertise, he has served on many boards in the Philadelphia community including The Federation of Jewish Agencies, The Locust Club, and Jewish Community Centers. Mr. Lichtman currently resides in Haverford, Pennsylvania, with his wife.
Charles P. O’Brien, MD PhD

Board Member

Charles P. O’Brien, a native of New Orleans, earned M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Tulane University. His residency training was in internal medicine, neurology and psychiatry at Harvard, Tulane, University of London, and the University of Pennsylvania. He is board certified in neurology, psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. During his tenure as Chief of Psychiatry at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center (9,000 patients), he also founded a clinical research program including both VA and University of Pennsylvania scientists. This research group has continued for 43 years and has been supported primarily by competitive NIH funding. The group’s findings have had a major impact on the treatment of addictive disorders.
Steven S. Piltch, EdD

Board Member

Dr. Piltch has a Bachelors degree from Williams College. He majored in psychology and earned two Masters degrees in education; one in counseling and consulting psychology and the other in educational administration, in addition to a Doctorate in Education from Harvard University. Dr. Piltch has taught in public and independent schools and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. He has coached a number of sports, most notably, the Harvard squash teams, leading them to six national championships. Dr. Piltch has been the Head, The Shipley School since 1992. He has served on numerous boards including the Gladwyne Montessori School, Wyndcroft School, Starfinder Foundation, ADVIS, and PAIS. Currently he is on the boards of the Center for the Study of Boys’ and Girls’ Lives, Gesu School, Montgomery School, Girard College, among others. He is an avid sportsman and enjoys his time spent with his family.
Wendi Platt

Board Member

Wendi Platt graduated magna cum laude from American University in Washington, DC with degrees in economics and finance. Ms. Platt worked as a CPA and foreign exchange trader before her current position as a marketing consultant to Virgo III. Ms. Platt has been involved with many non-profits in the Philadelphia area, including Project H.O.M.E., the Salvation Army, and the Support Center for Child Advocates. Most recently, she has joined advisory boards at the Agnes Irwin School and the Lower Merion Youth Coalition. An avid runner, Ms. Platt was responsible for establishing the first Run/Walk for Minding Your Mind last year. Ms. Platt lives in Wynnewood with her husband and three children.
