Thoughts are a very natural process, but overthinking leads to anxiety/ depression and effects on mental health, which is equally Important as physical health. I try to express my own feelings through paintings. Art is another way of keeping diary. Painting is an essence, it creates a state of meditation.
About the Artist
I am 58 years old self taught artist. I learn painting during COVID-19 lockdown for the first time in my life. I lost a few friends and family members during COVID. I also saw my own daughter working as an ICU RN dealing with COVID patients every day and her stress. Painting was my self-care tool. I tried to express all pain through painting with different mediums.
I #LivetoTell that art is an essence without any age boundaries. Domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and stress is not sustainable. Use art as a tool to keep yourself calm, and if no one is there, talk through it using colors to express your feelings.
