Alona Leviner-Sommer, MA, MS, LMFT

Florida Regional Director

Alona is a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping people thrive through mental health education and open conversations. She is dedicated to creating opportunities that inspire hope, strengthen resilience, and foster connection. She holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a Master’s degree in Broadcasting and Communication from San Francisco State University. She has worked with individuals, families, and groups in both clinical and educational settings, leading programs on emotional wellness, anxiety, communication, conflict resolution, and healthy relationships. As Florida Regional Director for Minding Your Mind, Alona expands access to mental health education across Florida by building partnerships with schools and community organizations. She works to increase mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage students, families, educators, and communities to seek support when they need it.
