The Secret Lives of Teens & Tweens

(available only in New England)

Do you wonder…

  • What teens and tweens are really thinking?

  • Why they don’t share their fears?

  • How we can better support them?

  • How we can become better parents or caregivers?

“The Secret Lives of Teens & Tweens” is a dynamic and fun 90-minute presentation for parents and caregivers that actively focuses on what children in these age groups are really thinking, what they fear, why they do not share more, and how adults can effectively support the teens and tweens in their lives. This presentation covers areas such as depression and anxiety, social media and technology, suicide, ‘acting out’ behaviors, drug and alcohol use, and more.

This presentation is suitable for large groups, and participants will leave the workshop with strategies they can implement immediately (who has time to wait?!) including:

  • New ways of understanding teens & tweens and their behaviors
  • Innovative techniques for engaging teens & tweens
  • Specific language to better elicit productive conversations
  • Confidence and courage

The fee for this program is $1,200

 Feedback:

“After hearing Jon speak at a conference, we wanted other parents in our school district to benefit as much as we did, so we brought him to town.  We had standing room only in our venue! The feedback we received was glowing — parents were very grateful; they loved Jon’s sense of humor, his honesty & relatability as a parent of 2 teens, his professional knowledge, and the practical advice and strategies he provided. Jon was also wonderful to work with in planning our event- it was a very collaborative partnership as our success was very important to Jon.  We used his suggestions to promote our event and it made a measurable impact on attendance. We hope to bring him back!” ~ PTSA, Sandwich, MA
