William Jacob “Jake” Weber V (6/28/00 – 7/18/19) was the youngest of six children and the only son to his parents, Jamie and Bill. He was loved by his sisters Brittany, Sun, Maddie, Sarah, and Rebecca, as well as his “big brother” Mike and his girlfriend, Lauren.
He was a hard-working 19-year old who had an entrepreneurial spirit, as he started his own landscape company at the age of 16. He took pride in his work and in his business, which had grown in spite of his young age, as a result of his “can-do” attitude.
Jake graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School and Central Montco Technical High School in June 2019. He began an apprenticeship after graduation with Klover Contracting, Inc. while also managing his landscaping business. He was a true entrepreneur who was willing to take on any project, even if that meant calling his tech school teachers, or, if all else failed, teaching himself via YouTube or Google. These traits enabled him to grow his young business because no job was out of reach for Jake and his friends (aka his hired help)!
For unknown reasons, Jake took his own life on July 18, 2019. His family and friends are left with unimaginable loss and questions that will never be answered. As a result, The Jake Weber Fund at Minding Your Mind was established with the goal of helping to prevent other families from experiencing the devastation that comes from losing a loved one by suicide.
Gifts to The Jake Weber Fund are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.
