Rebecca McDermott, LMFT

Rebecca McDermott is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Pennsylvania with over 10 years experience with individuals, couples and families. Rebecca received her master’s degree from Chestnut Hill College in 2013 and gained clinical experience at Center for Families and Relationships, a non-profit family therapy agency in Northeast Philadelphia, and in Horsham Clinic’s partial hospitalization programs for children/adolescents and adults.

Rebecca is the owner of Connected Counseling, an outpatient therapy private practice in Montgomery County dedicated to building better connections in all relationships. She is dedicated to the field and training student and pre-licensed MFTs as an AAMFT supervisor candidate, and was an adjunct professor at Chestnut Hill College. Rebecca approaches her work with the understanding that her clients are the experts in their own lives and builds on the strengths they already possess. She seeks to instill hope and help grow communication skills, emotional awareness and vulnerability. Rebecca helps others realize that our relationships are one of the best indicators of health and overall quality of life.

Rebecca is based in the greater Philadelphia region. In-person speaking engagements outside that area may require a fee for travel expenses.
