Nedra Everett, LCSW

She/Her

Nedra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience working with diverse populations across clinical, community, and school-based settings. Her professional background includes trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, depression, anxiety, anger management, parent coaching, grief and loss, relationship-focused interventions, and supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges within educational environments.

Nedra’s passion for helping others began early in life through the influence of her grandmother, who cared for foster children in her home. Watching her grandmother provide support, compassion, stability, and love to children in need inspired Nedra to pursue a career in social work and dedicate her life to serving individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.

Nedra has experience working within different school settings where she has supported children and adolescents facing academic stress, behavioral concerns, peer conflict, emotional regulation difficulties, family transitions, and social-emotional development needs. She collaborates with families, educators, and support teams to help students improve coping skills, communication, self-esteem, and overall emotional wellness both inside and outside the classroom.

Nedra is very passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. She is known for creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. Through her diverse clinical expertise and commitment to personalized care, Nedra is dedicated to helping individuals overcome obstacles, strengthen emotional well-being, and achieve personal fulfillment.

Nedra is located in Chicago, IL. In-person speaking engagements beyond 90 miles may require a fee for travel expenses.
