As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles, Katara is passionate about creating spaces where people feel heard, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges. She believes that meaningful change begins with genuine human connection through enriched discussions. Katara strives to help individuals build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater confidence. Through her work facilitating therapy groups, she has the privilege of witnessing the strength people discover within themselves, and it’s a reminder of why she commits herself to this work every day.
In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a program facilitator with Minding Your Mind, where she helps to educate students, educators, and communities about mental health and the importance of seeking support. Katara believes that honest conversations can reduce stigma, foster understanding, and inspire hope. Whether she is facilitating a therapy group or speaking to an audience, her goal is the same: to help people feel less alone and remind them that healing and recovery are always possible.
Katara is based in Los Angeles, CA. In-person speaking engagements beyond 90 miles may require a fee for travel expenses.
