Dulce Orozco is a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts. She holds a master’s degree (MS) and a Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Mental Health Counseling from Suffolk University. She began her career at McLean Hospital in 2005. Since then she has worked at partial hospitalization programs, outpatient counseling centers, and community health centers, providing group and family therapy, as well as individual therapy for adults and children. She is committed to supporting caregivers and brings compassion, warmth, and authenticity to her work. Dulce’s first language is Spanish and she is also fluent in English and Portuguese. Dulce has extensive experience working with individuals who themselves and/or their families are not native to our country. She works using mindfulness, whole body integration, self-compassion, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Dulce provides an environment offering the connection, trust, and safety that can help individuals achieve greater resiliency and empowerment. She currently has a private practice in Stoughton, Massachusetts. When she is not working, she is with her young daughters trying to savor their childhood as much as possible.
Dulce Orozco is based in the Greater Boston area. In-person speaking engagements beyond 120 miles may require a fee for travel expenses.
