Andrew Reigle, M.Ed.
Andrew’s passion for Social Emotional Learning, mental health advocacy, healthy relationships, personal boundaries, work life balance, and the integration of these supports in all his work stems from his upbringing. He is a product of significant trauma involving poverty, substance abuse, sexual abuse, suicide, the foster care system, and negative family structures. Leading to his own attempts at suicide and issues with mental health, he struggled to find himself as a young adult and into the first part of his career. After years of struggling to come out, he finally found belonging as a member of the LGBTQ community and refocused his efforts. His goal is to spread his story of hope and resilience through effecting change at the systemic level. Under his leadership, more than ten emotional support, clinical support, and integrated mental health treatment programs have been strengthened, developed and/or implemented in Philadelphia and across the surrounding five counties. These programs provide safe and positive learning environments for students ages 5-21 and include a blend of school-based supports and integrated clinical treatment. His lifelong goal is to afford every student an opportunity for successful development in a nurturing environment, something he lacked as a child.
In his work with Minding Your Mind, Andrew presents to parents, caregivers, and the community in schools, conferences, and workplaces.
Andrew Reigle is based in the Greater Philadelphia area. In-person speaking engagements beyond 90 miles may require a fee for travel expenses.
