Lights in the Darkness, Workshop + Public Exhibit

Dilworth Park 1 S 15th Street, Philadelphia

Acknowledging and honoring those who have struggled in their personal battle with mental health is the first step of many in sparking the conversation about mental health and suicide. Participate with the Irish Diaspora Center and Minding Your Mind in a workshop with Irish artist Tom Meskell to create a sculpture honoring the life of your loved one. Then join hundreds of others for a celebration of the art and lives in Dilworth Park at Philadelphia's City Hall on September 22nd for a public exhibit. The intention of the work is to redefine our community’s collective relationship with mental health and suicide and to bring peace to those impacted.
