Statement in Support of AAPI Community

At Minding Your Mind, we stand unequivocally against racism, xenophobia, and acts of violence against any group of people for simply being who they are. The increase in attacks against members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community and the escalating violence of those attacks are abhorrent. These attitudes and acts are in direct conflict with everything Minding Your Mind works toward: understanding, acceptance, healing, and ending stigma while showing dignity and respect to our fellow citizens and human beings.
The resulting trauma from the reality of discrimination over generations greatly impacts the emotional wellbeing and mental health of the AAPI community, and we commit to being part of the solution. We stand with our AAPI colleagues, supporters, friends, and followers, and call for accountability and action in keeping all members of the AAPI community safe, protected, and supported.
